I want to travel but I don't know how to start. So guys... if there's anybody from /trv/ here, how do you finance your travelling fees?

Ah, you'll meet crazier people when travelling. People say solo travel is the best way to travel because you decide where to go next. You're a nomad, alone on the entire planet, aimlessly wandering around meeting people. It's a easy to romanticize it because it's so true. But along the way you'll meet people from every corner of the globe from every walk of life. All you need to do is step into a hotel and you'll meet other travellers, share experiences and bus rides and make long lasting friendships.

Don't listen to >>19. Thousands of young people backpack around the world each year. It's actually a pretty trendy thing to do these days because it's so cheap, easy and rewarding. It's not about finding your soul, this isn't the 1960s. People travel to see the real world, not the sterile, fake, cold, unfriendly life people like this poster live. A world full of different colours, smells, religions, traditions, customs. A world full of the poorest, hungriest, most helpless people who still manage to wake up every morning and try their best to survive. People travel to see the thousands of years of human culture that exists and have fun doing it.
