Is selling Life Insurance a good job?

I've gotten interviews from several of these companies that pay you on commission to sell life insurance.  If any of you work for one, please discuss.  Thx

If you can sell, you can make money.  I couldn't sell.  It's a really weird relationship, the salesman and the customer.  Even if it's what's best for them, the customer doesn't want to give up the money, so salesmen cajole, pressure, and outright lie to people to close the sale.  It's all a big orgy of hypocrisy.  Then there's the idea that insurance is extortion anyway.
If you can sell, then go with used cars.  It's more honest.

I don't believe in insurance as practiced by insurance companies.  They can take a hike!
