I have approached over 1000 women over a 35 year period (about 3-4/month). By approached, I mean that I introduced myself and tried to talk to them. The vast majority gave me negative body language and acted as if they did not want to talk to me. About 60 (about 2/year) of these women were willing to talk to me, so I asked them out. Eight of them agreed and I went on 1-2 dates with them, which led nowhere.
I was able to force myself to do this despite having extreme anxiety because I have a high tolerance for emotional pain. Also, I am willing to try because I have confidence that comes from having successfully desensitized myself by forced, repeated exposoure in other anxiety-producing situations, such as public speaking. I am able to function in a state of terror, but I can't necessarily hide my terror from others. Women can see that I am nervous and not acting like a normal person, and this turns them off.

As multiple people prefer to spend this night with their partner, the officials of the Selangor State Islamic Department had decided to raid on the budget hotels of the region and arrest people, who were engaged in such illegal activities.
As per the reports, the Shariah law of the Islamic society prohibits unmarried couples to stay together in a closed room and fifty-two couple, who were arrested from the hotels had violated the law. It has also been reported that the unmarried couple, who were arrested from the hotels mostly included students and young factory workers. Though most of the couples arrested were young, reports indicated that there was one elderly couple too. It has been reported that a lady of above fifty years was found with another man from the hotel room.
The couples, who were arrested faces the charge of sexual misconduct, might receive imprisonment sentence with some financial penalty, if the charges against them are proved. The news of this arrest have alerted the youths of the country, who had the desire to be intimate with their partners before marriage. Officials have not declared the identity of the couples, who were involved in the act. They have not yet made any comment on the progress of the case and the penalty that they would have to bear for violating the law.
