You're right. I was just genuinely curious. As for your imageboard blocked situation, maybe you could try SSH tunneling or a VPS solution or a proxy script installed on a cheap web host (preferably outside of your country). It may be a bit of a pain to accomplish, but it'll certainly be much better and more reliable than using a public proxy. Also, I believe it's not against 4chan's rules to use a private proxy.

Public proxy use is against the rules. Though, as I said before, private proxy use might be a different story. I'll have to ask a moderator on IRC sometime to confirm this. Plus using a private proxy all to yourself would be much more reliable (you don't have to worry about some asshat getting it perma-banned, for instance).
