Oh hey, kiddo, what're you up to? On the ol' computer machine? Yeah you kids seem to love that Google and electric mail stuff. I remember back in my day we used to hand write letters to one another. Remember Schmitty from back when you were a tike? Well when he was over in Korea we would play chess by jotting down our piece movements on paper and sending it to one another. I'll be darned if we never finished that one game over 8 months! What's that? You're busy talking to your friends on a "messenger"? No, no that's alright, bud, I'll just.... I'll just talk to you later sometime... tell your dad I said hello...

Actually when I'm not on /lounge/ and over my grandfather's house I always talk to him about his antique radios and his old record player and his 78s. It's like being in a whole 'nother world. Right now he's trying to fix a 1963 b&w RCA television set, but it needs another tube. I always tell him I could probably find one online somewhere. Ah well.

You kids got that Internet on there now, huh? Back in the day we used to have to tell the operator where we wanted to call.
Back in the day, we had to sit down at something called a computer to search for anything on the Internet. Now, all you have to do is whip out your phone to do the searchin'.
