That's interesting, because my cat just yawned. I wonder, if you stick your hand in a cat's mouth while it's yawning, will it still bite down or keep it open. Anyone up to testing this?

It'll do kind of like a sneezing motion; pulling its head back while slightly shaking it. They don't bite down either, just carefully trying to close it once your hand's out of the way.
Source: I have an autistic fascination with sticking my hand in my cats' mouths when they're yawning.

I took care of the yawning problem. Took an hour nap and now I'm right as rain. I'll update once again if anything changes.
