It wasn't bad when it started off, but things went downhill pretty quickly. I guess it just didn't have the userbase that it needed to survive.
For the love of god, put up a philosophy board though. You see philosophy threads on nearly all the boards. People will keep coming back to something like that.

These threads are widespread only because they are on /b/ and /x/, and thus people say 'epic' and things ending with '-fag' all the time, providing an adequate entertainment for the audience.
