Admit your role.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-23 13:34

bump.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 12:07

What the hell is wrong with this thread.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 12:08

Just in case, before >>7 it used to be the last thread on last 725 page

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 12:28

1969-12-31 19:00

But what does it mean?

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 14:12

Use a special chracter (of which I dont know) that makes it do that. Ask /prog/riders if they could enlighten you.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 15:34

>>10
They'll probably troll him to oblivion instead.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 15:50

>>11
True; well here's a backup plan. Download the shiichan source open it in notepad search for 1969-12-31 and bob's your uncle!

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 15:56

>>12
I guess that could work. Shiichan can be downloaded here: http://wakaba.c3.cx/shii/shiichan

And apparently, there was a security update made on it. Probably thanks to Mr VacBob.

You're not going to find 1969 in the source code, that's the date it gives when the post time is blank.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 16:49

>>14
I'm no fancy pants /prog/rammer but why wouldn't it say something like :

If date = blank
print date '1969-12-31'

Nice, what is that guy's name??? He has a great body.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 17:05

If there was a new line in the subject field this would happen but it was fixed I think...

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 17:05

>>15
In a way it does, but it's the built-in date function, not something Shii specifically coded. That date is 0 unix time (beginning of 1970) minus the timezone adjustment.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 17:17

>>18
I'm no /prog/rammer either, but I figured it would have something to do with Unix time. But since it does, why 12-31-1969 and not 1-1-1970? I'm a bit confused on that.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 17:38

timezones

Kind of like in RahXephon.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 18:49

>>20
OK, timezones. But I'm still confused by this.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-25 19:58

Unix time uses Coordinated Universal Time, 4chan time uses Eastern US, 5 hour difference.

Oh. It makes sense now. Thank you for explaining, kind Anonymous.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-27 13:36

It's again on the last page? WTF?

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-27 14:26

>>25
I'm sorry, what?

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-27 14:34

>>26
He means this thread is last on the thread list.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-27 14:56

>>27
Ah. But I don't see why it needed to be bumped.

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-27 15:36

>>28
Yeah me too ::confused::

Name: Anonymous 2010-01-05 13:08

I clicked reply a second time while it was still loading, I guess it's just some bug
