So lounge, ponder my this ridiculous question of mine if you don't mind.
If someone were to send you an email asking if you are doing something later in the evening, does that imply that they are interested in doing something with you?
I.e. is it more akin to asking "Are you busy later?", which would suggest a desire to hang out, or "Any big plans for the weekend?", which would just suggest friendly conversation with no suggestive undercurrent.
