Ziggy comic panel reviewed

Ziggy is a comic panel that some newspapers print in their newspaper.  Also, you can read it on the internet, I think.

Ziggy is a sad little worm of a man, and judging by his name, is probably of Jewish background.  Strangers openly mock him, and he gets made sad very often in his panel comic.

Are we meant to sympathize with Ziggy?  Or are we supposed to despise him as the rest of the world does?  Is our life to be feeling better because at least we aren't that Ziggy guy?  I wonder.

I think the Ziggy cartoonist is very wealthy and has a grand mansion.

Also he doesn't wear pants
