Outhouses

I sometimes wonder whether an outhouse would be better than a modern bathroom.  I imagine there'd be less grime, what with it being made out of wood instead of linoleum.  Your water bill would be cheaper, and it would never back up.  On the other hand, taking a shit in the middle of winter wouldn't be too fun.
