Anon's box

The other day, I came on to /lounge/ and it looked kind of weird.  At the bottom of every thread was a little bar that had the text "DON'T TYPE STUFF HERE!"  So naturally, I typed stuff there.  Suddenly, a rapidshare box pops up, asking me if I want to run spam.gz.  I click cancel, but to no avail.  I was banned for seven days.  Now I am doomed to the world of proxies until my time is up.  And they're really slow and full of ads.  So heed this warning; DON'T TYPE STUFF THERE!

Yeah I saw that once too for about 2 seconds but it disappeared before I could select it. I wonder what the story is behind it. What was your ban reason? Spam? Are you banned from all boards? You could appeal on IRC for a quick response.
