Speaking only as someone who has spent time living in both urban and rural areas of Alberta I can only say that people from rural Alberta are fuckin dumb as hell like tree stump dumb and mean as shit too not like Little House on the Prairie dumb like where if you somehow ended up on their farm they might give you pie just dumb and mean as shit, gross fat retards

seriously fuck Ft. McMurray. What a shithole. Its like everyone up here is a dick all the time, probably because they are pissed off they live in Ft. McMurray. Except the bums, but they are all newfies anyway.

I'm "lucky" enough to travel the world for a living (it was fun at first, but I'm well over it) and if I've learned anything, it's this: a solid 95-98% of people on this planet are just stupefyingly retarded if not completely insane. In some areas, sure, it's a little worse or better, but from what I can tell, it just comes down to education. That is, everyone is still just as retarded, they're just not as ignorant.

I don't really want to get into it, but I think a lot of it comes from religion. Religion fosters a culture of willful ignorance and a rejection of skepticism. In short, it stunts intellectual growth. The effect is especially pronounced are the US and the Middle East. From what I've seen, they aren't nearly as different as they would like to think.
