So if you're a firefighter, and they call you when you're having a wank, should you stop and go or finish?

A friend of mine was doing volunteer Firefighter work, and amusingly enough he ran into the same situation. Since he loved the work and didn't quite want to get kicked out, he stopped and had to get on the truck during a call. Now for paid Firefighters, maybe you'd get away with not going to a call (if you're a high rank most likely), I don't know about that though.
