Anyone ever experience something like this?

You cite(I use the term loosely and stipulate)a link between schizophrenia and "an abnormal amount of neuron connections."  Fair enough, but I would caution that the use of the word abnormal indicates a qualitative determination rather than more quantitative "higher number" or "unusual" or even the actual numbers.
You continue with "...meaning..." So after citing studies that only provide a "link"  you assert a causal relationship, a mechanism, a conclusion, and use what is, in my opinion, a specious simile.
I'm gonna hypothesize now.  You are, in order of likelihood, one of the following:
A patient.
A psych, or NP undergrad.
An incompetent psych or social work professional.
Whatever the case your post exhibits knowledge but lacks expertise.  You think physics is tough?  We're still in the very earliest stages of just attempting to reconcile the human mind and the human brain, and though your assertions may be common among, or acceptable to public health "professionals", they are not acceptable to scientists.
