Along with this are the usual anti-Japanese sentiments that are as strong as ever, if not more so.
The anti-Japanese sentiments among the chinese people are so strong that the ruling government felt it was necessary to attack and invade Japan to keep the chinese people happy, to improve internal stability and satisfy their Japanese bloodlust.
The chinese government then sets a goal: to invade Japan, nationalize their industries and to publically make the higher-ranked Japanese government officials to kneel, apologize and grovel for forgiveness for their ancestor's world war 2 actions (Nanking rape etc).
