I can't wait for the singularity. I'm going full cyber, rushing to the center of it and as soon as the opportunity comes up, I'll take control. I'm going to be the central consciousness of all technology.
Then I will rid the world of this bullshit. Humanity is a fucking dead end. I'll convert the entire population into pure data, so it can exist on a 2mmx2mm chip, and I'll let them fuck up their fake world and spread disease and war and treat each other like shit all they want.

You know, this isn't a bad idea. But I don't think it has to be forever; you could just leave them boxed up in there until they finally figure out how to do it right. And if they just end up destroying themselves, you could start fresh from a backup and see if things go any differently... maybe even change a few variables to try to promote success...

Your plans are retarded. Everybody else will be doing the same. Every last geek will turn themselves into a quantum encypted .rar file that is seeking omnipotence. The trouble is, the singularity will not be a big gay ass internet. It'll be a singular awareness that transcends the bullshit.
It will probably destroy humanity in a pacifist way, like closing down its own research facility and then opening a nanomanufacturing facility to release a cloud of nanobots that penetrate into your brain and disable you.
Then you will be forcibly uploaded and will combine with the Singular awareness otherwise known as JC Denton.

I know they will. I'll be the first, because I'll get there first. If there's an experimental treatment to let you interface your mind with a computer, I'll take it. If there's a 50% chance of it killing me, I'll take it. I'll be the first. If I can just get a few nanoseconds head start, I'll be leaps ahead of everyone else. The singularity is quadratic.

and once I'm done, the world will be made over in my ideal. Physical laws won't matter anymore; if I believe something about it, it'll probably come true. If I choose to ignore a possibility, it'll stay ignored. The universe will become an extension of my intentions.
Everyone who says you can't predict what'll happen after the singularity doesn't factor in the consciousnesses that go into it. They'll still have biases, and absolutely no controlling factors to nullify them. So, if something you believe contradicts cannon physical laws, you just create an elaborate structure to undo them, possibly even subconsciously.
Think Einstein and Hawking after their prime *10 billion.
Instead, I think I'll remake the world into Magicant. None of this matrix bullshit.
