I found out my girlfriend has been throwing up her meals after eating, and when she told me she had been doing this the entire time we've been dating I was upset. I told her that I couldn't talk to her right now, and signed out of messenger, several minutes later, I signed on and told her I had calmed down, and was ready to talk about it. She told me that I was a jerk for leaving, and I hurt her feelings.

I left in order to avoid yelling at her and hurting her feelings.
