thinking of starting drinking to quit

I am thiking of starting to drink heavily, to the point of having a drinking problem, so that I may then quit drinking in order to feel better.  I feel rather lousy, but I don't currently have a drinking problem to quit to feel better from quiting from.  So, hence the thinking about drinking heavily, to feel better later after quitting drinking so much.
