"...governmental measures, combined with the Federal Reserve's loose monetary policy, led to an unsustainable housing boom. The key measure by which the Fed caused this boom was through the manipulation of interest rates, and the open market operations that accompany this lowering."

I told you it was OBushma or McBush, and you still voted, fucking morons!

http://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/8kf89/obama_considering_indefinite_detention_for_gitmo/

President Barack Obama appears to be drifting to the right of former President George W. Bush on detainee policy.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

Sen. Lindsay Graham (R., S.C.), who met this week with White House Counsel Greg Craig to discuss the administration's plans, said among the proposals being studied is seeking authority for indefinite detentions, with the imprimatur of some type of national-security court.

Sen. Graham said he wants to work with the administration to pass legislation to increase judicial oversight of military commissions, but noted the legal difficulties that would arise.

"This is a difficult question. How do you hold someone in prison without a trial indefinitely?" Sen. Graham said.

An interesting question indeed.

It leaves this reporter wondering why a Republican senator is asking it when a Democratic president was elected to ensure that question, and others like it, would never have be asked again.

You voted for Obushma, suckers

Obama administration quietly signs record military spending bill...includes provisions for trying Guantanamo detainees using miltary tribunals, exempts photos taken by the military from 9/11/2001 until 1/22/2009 from Freedom of Information Act requests, and more.

Freedom of Press Takes HUGE Blow. Congress Passes Bill that Forces Reporters to Reveal Sources in "National Security" Cases. Obama WILL sign.

Anyone notice that [Obama] signed a $680 BILLION defense [appropriations] bill in the midst of our heated debates about $90b a [year for healthcare]?

It's what the US people voted for when they shoved a bunch of tea party turd humpers into the legislative branch.  So stop bitching and let the wealth trickle down to your poor jobless ass like you believe it will eventually some day.  Papa's got a corporate jet tax loophole to keep open.
