whiskers for the blind

You know how cats and mice and other animals can feel their way around in darkness with their whiskers?  We should develop whisker implants for the blind.  At present, we give them a cane, which is pretty much one long hard whisker.  If the blind had a face of 3-foot whiskers, they could walk around with ease.

we should just make them all bisexual so they can use their cane for bum sex as well
