At one of the police substations I frequent (as a city IT guy), there is a very poignant picture hanging on the wall. It's of a family of rather thuggish looking folks gathered around a thanksgiving feast and all of them have big smiles on their faces. What they're smiling about is the toddler in the foreground who's holding a .380 auto pistol in his hand like its his newest baby-rattle.

I bet they were black.
