Well, I was going to post this in /b/ for some reason (worth a shot), but it seems to be down.

But this no troll post. This is just a Music appreciation post. Overrated as you may think they are, it astounds me to no end how much I can still appreciate The Beatles at this day and age.
Truly one of the greatest bands of all time.
But in hopes of making this a topic that can be discussed, I ask you. What is your favorite band, and how does it personally influence you? Preferably in responses other than "it soundz gud punk rawk ROXorz!1"
