More oldfags = good or bad?

It's not so much claiming to be an oldfag or a newfag - though actually having experience with the website is nice.

It's more about being a smart poster (whether you're trolling or being serious, aka doing it wrong). A lot of people just call others newfags because they think 4chan is their secret club nobody should know about, clinging on to old memes as if they're some sort of secret currency. Then *they* look like the tools.

And while I think idiots should go away, I'm more than willing to accept new people if they're not fucking stupid.

I just really hate people who spew memes randomly, and those who don't even know WTF it means, but they say it anyways... LURK MOAR. I can't stress that enough. Then after a while of knowing how this site works, you can talk.

But new people don't lurk anymoar. They just come on their first day, learn how to write messages and keep talking like idiots..

I'm sick of this "just get more ram!" bullshit. My 286 did almost as much functionality-wise as my current multi-ghz machine. Yeah, really. Sure, there was no multi-tasking, but I did the mostly the same things as I do today.
Hello, fuckers, just because you can eat ram doesn't mean you should. It costs money and also reduces the number of programs you can run.
I can see it now: in another ten years programs will have minimum footprint of 1GB, but they'll just do more of the same

Well I am not an "processor." You have no right to call me that if I made mistakes.  This site should have some rules about harrassments, threats, and name calling.  I am still in the need of more help in that regards

The real problem is shitposters, most of which happen to be newfags.

Nearly everyone who uses the term newfag has been here for less than a year, and all the rest use ED as a sort of 4chan cribsheet. Pointless worrying about it all really.
