There are a few (a very few) people in my life who know of my affinity for boys. None of them have been hostile.
Tonight I went to a movie with a friend, and Freddie Highmore was in a preview. "I'd hit that," I said laughingly. "Really? Lucky kid." That was it.
The funny thing is that I've met that response everywhere. "You like 12yo boys? Where were you when I was 12?"
Granted, I am only 19, so it's not really that creepy yet. So far, it just seems like a lot of boys think it's awesome I want them.
Maybe it's just my absence of a penetrating tool. Maybe it's some form of misogyny. Who knows? All I know is that I enjoy being a girl.
