I think that the best course of action for a test case (for anyone willing to take the risk) is for someone underage to take a picture of him/herself, wait for a long time during which he/she becomes in a respectful position as a scientist, artist, or other kind of intellectual. And then releases those pictures to the public. This person who shall volunteer to do such a thing is taking a big risk, but I think righting society's wrongs are worth it, and I think that people will not be so willing to disown a great figure just because they release nude pictures of themselves from when they were underage.
