Iraq

The United States and its Allies can bomb the shit out of Germany and Japan, sign a treaty, and become best friends. For some reason this didn't work in Vietnam and Iraq. Why?

Bombing Germany and Japan was part of WW2, and vastly more justified than invading a country because you don't agree with the way it's run.

The Germans and Japanese were both "brainwashed" if you will and somewhat religiously fanatical in their ideologies yet they were defeated. What's the difference between them and Iraq? They were actually stronger.
