Apparently it's some shit where ignorant American high school students spend lots of money and gather at some kind of social activity where they dance to rap and popular music and violate the law of chastity. American schools don't teach shit. Just look at an average student's MySpace and see how wonderful their spelling and grammar is or better yet, try sending them a private message and attempt to have an intellectual conversation.

I'm 19 years old and I've had a High School Equivalency Diploma for a few years now, which is actually harder to obtain than a regular diploma. Studies have shown that when tested the majority of high school graduates failed the 5 General Educational Development Tests that you are needed to complete to be awarded a High School Equivalency Diploma.

Anyway, back to the main subject. I quit school a little before my 17th birthday (I would've quit sooner but I was on a legal program that was forcing me to go even though I was 16) and I decided to actually learn things instead of sitting in class rooms for 7 hours a day where no learning or teaching is taking place, just kids socializing and saying "fuck" and "shit" in every sentence. I've learned lots of things in these past 2 years on my own from books, educational websites, and educational television programmes than American public schools have ever taught me.

Anyway I'm proud to say I had no idea what a prom was until today.
