This one time I came across a guy who offered to buy my soul. He claimed that collecting souls was a hobby of his. He said that a soul is an orb of energy about the size of a grapefruit. Also, that people don't really need them, and can live the rest of their lives fine without one. I did not accept his offer of course.
If you are simply interested in no longer existing, in other words, "destroying your soul" I would seriously consider other options. If you sell your soul, that means someone or something can do something to it. If you destroy it yourself, you know that it can at least no longer be used.
If you are interested in destroying your soul, you might want to look into astral projection. You can start with lucid dreaming first if you like. They say that lucid dreams are the training wheels for astral projections. There is this possibility that you might have to get into that Satanic ritual stuff. I really don't like saying that, but my contact in Houston is really good at this astral projection stuff, and I fear he may have started delving into the Satanic stuff.
I remember him telling me about this one time he tried to "project" his soul into one of the higher dimensions/realms and his soul basically started to "hurt" so he had to stop and bring himself back "down". I wonder if maybe the next time I talk to him he will have already succeeded in projecting into this higher plane.
Anyway, if you are interested in destroying your soul, this is what he told me to do. He said you basically have to "return to the source". This reminds me of one of the scenes in the Matrix Trilogy. If you can succeed in getting your soul into the source, you will basically cease to exist. Your soul energy will be reintegrated back into the pool. You will lose your identity. You, an individual soul, will simply cease to be. According to my contact, this is the closest thing to "destroying your soul".

There is this concept known as an "organic portal". It's basically a human without a soul. Supposedly over 50% of the humans beings on this planet don't have souls. I have no idea if there's some sort of test one can conduct on themselves in order to detect the presence of a soul. The best "test" I can currently think of is a successful astral projection. Then again, that just simply tests whether or not one has an "astral body" or not. There's an astral body, and then there's a soul. Hmm...
