I was "socially inept" and bullied aswell, the difference being I was witty and athletic enough to turn those awkward situations when someone is trying to fuck with you into my favour and I enjoyed it as it gave me an opportunity to vent my anger. My grades were always high so teachers were always on my side and preps were always slightly jealous as all the cute girls who didn't plaster on make up, pretend to like R&B and act like vindictive bitches were attracted to me civilised non-threatenning mature demeanor.

Well my point is it is your fault that you cannot deal with reality. I was in the same situation as you but through personal strength of character I overcame it, in fact it hardly took much effort at all and I enjoyed the experience.
