I am not sure what to do with myself anymore. I have never had a girlfriend and I really want a relationship. I am a pretty shy person and I don't really know that many girls. I am the nicest person. Almost everyone likes my personality and atleast thinks I am a nice person. I am 5'6"-5'7" and I weight about 180. I am not the most attractive person, I really don't have a bad face though, but I am not that bad overall. Anyways, besides for likeing me as a person, I don't think there is anyone out there that wants to persue anything with me. I dono what it is. As long as I am comfortable with the person, I am so honest and so very open and I love to talk. But I don't think anyone knows that side of me. I mean in school I act depressed and kinda lazy though still nice. I am depressed because I always think about stuff like this. I play tennis and am rather good at it, I play the drums, I like water sports, and I like to do stuff with people. One person on this site gave me advice just to live your life how you want it to and if you are not looking for someone then they will magically find you. It sounds ok to me but I was wondering if there is anything I could do.
I mean I know I should meet more people, especially girls, but one girl recommended to me that I go to a teen club. She said it is just where a bunch of teens go and grind. Problem is with that stuff is that is not me and it's not what I do. Also she said go to the school dances. There are no more of those comeing up this year and I don't dance or anything like that. And I am not religous so I wouldn't really go to any sort of youth group. Alot of people will probably say stuff like you don't need a girlfriend to validate yourself, or why don't you hang out with your other friends, or why don't you go workout? They are all fine ideas except it still doesn't get me into a realtionship in which is what I am aiming for.
If anyone could give me any ideas or adive I would appreciate it.
