Redheaded Wapanese

Youtube recently had a video of a wapanese girl named Kate in its top vids and I was struck by something odd.
I had seen two wapanese girls listed on dramatica and both are redheads and this girl was as well.
In addition, in the Brad Pitt 503 jeans ad on japander.com a caucasion with red hair speaks Japanese.
 These girls are all die hard wapanese with fluent or moderate japanese language skills.
And they ALL have red hair, which judging by their skin complexion is real. Regardless of whether or not it is a dye job, this is not a random thing.
WTF is up with red headed chicks and Japan?

Thats why

While were at it, why would a girl be interested in Japan at all? They get completely breezed over accept for WWII in school, so a interest in Japan has to be sought on one's own. I think its the gardens and pretty buildings and shit that draws them.
 But still, red heads? WTF.
