Anyway, I had a weird experience today. Was at a local fastfood place, ordered a chicken salad. Anyway, when I took my food to sit down, I noticed the girl gave me the wrong type of salad dressing. I took it up back and in a pretty awkward way (I am awkward) I asked her if I could have the right kind. She gives me the right kind and gives me a really cute/big smile. Not sure exactly why, probably just trying to be nice, and because I was kind of nervous/awkward.
It's funny how such a small thing can make me feel good. Just the fact that a cute girl gave me a big smile kind of melted me. It made my day. It's hard to explain, but it just did something for me. I suppose it feels good that I could actually elicit that kind of response. I couldn't help but smile back. But I immediately turned away and went back to my seat.
If I wasn't so awkward and shy I probably could have joked around about it. Not that I expected anything, after all I have no idea who she is, and she was busy with work. Just saying that a normal person could have done something there while I just walked away in a hurry. It was a good and bad experience.
