A Jew (Hebrew: יְהוּדִי, Yehudi (sl.); יְהוּדִים, Yehudim (pl.); Ladino: ג׳ודיו, Djudio (sl.); ג׳ודיוס, Djudios (pl.); Yiddish: ייִד, Yid (sl.); ייִדן, Yidn (pl.))[1] is a member of the Jewish people, an ethnic group originating in the Israelites of the ancient Middle East. The ethnicity and the religion of Judaism, the traditional faith of the Jewish nation, are strongly interrelated, and converts to Judaism are both included and have been absorbed within the Jewish people throughout the millennia.

If Moses declared "Let my people go", where did they come from? I mean, they did wander a fucking desert for 40 years. So I restate, what "nation" did they originally come from?

Moses was not the first jew abraham was and he originated from the area of cannan which is now israel...the jews people started about the same time of the first city states.

the first jews were nomads...during a time where it was more common to be nomads then from a "nation"
