Statements not questions.

Question: So is working 8 hours a week hard?
Statement: Working 8 hours a week must be hard for you guys.

Question: Do you guys like the music here?
Statement: They've got some pretty cool music playing up here.

Question: Are you picking out something for your boyfriend?
Statement: You looked like you were trying to pick out something for your boyfriend.

Question: Are you guys Freshman?
Statement: You guys must be Freshman because I didn't see you around here last year.

Question: Are you guys excited for the game?
Statement: I know you guys are excited for the game tonight.

And that's basically what making a statement is, it's not asking a question, but actually making a statement

Whatever ends up happening will be something you didn't plan for or rehearse in your mind.
