You folks at 4chan lounge appear to be reasonably intelligent and well-informed.
So why would you insist on trumpeting the Rush Limbaugh Show as the paragon of "broadcasting excellence."
As a fiscal conservative, I on occasion tune in to the show, hoping against hope to hear something of substance. But no; all I get is the same yuk-yuking, name-calling, voice mimicking, tortured statistics, non-sequiturs, shifting thoughts in mid-sentence, putting words in people's mouths, staged phone calls from fawning listeners, mistaken predictions, lies couched in half-truths, mind-numbing blustering—in short, nothing but drivel.
Limbaugh's crude satire of the liberal establishment might have at one time been justified and entertaining, but now it's an embarrassment. That a first-year drop-out from a minor college, a beer vendor, a pill addict, draft-dodger (claimed he had a boil on his anus), and a consummate buffoon came to be embraced as the guru of the conservative movement in America is cause for alarm.
