scared that you'll be alone forever?

I am a 20-year-old guy, and I have never dated anyone, or even come close to it. I am normally optimistic when it comes to love, thinking "it's going to happen in its own time, there's no rush," but sometimes you can be optimistic all you want, but then be realistic and just think that maybe you won't ever find "the one", or even a decent girlfriend. i am at that stage right now. I may, I am not at all good looking, thin, or charimastic, and there are tons of guys out there who are just better than me, so I don't see why girls would settle for me. I am just so scared that i will be 50 one day and never been dated befoe.

Having a girlfriend is no benefit to you, it may seem like it is but it is just an illusion created by your instincts to force you to reproduce. This illusion is not meant to be overcome which is why it is usually not. But you will achieve so much more in your life if you just ignore it and stay away from relationships your whole life. You may feel that you are not complete and will never be until you meet "The One" but the undenable truth is that in 10 years you will regret it. You will be misurable which ever path you choose except one, and that path is to just not care. About anything. No matter how much you achieve or how many children you parent you will not be happy. The only true path to happiness is to just not care and to live your life free. Travel the world until you die and don't care where it will lead you.
