Education is something that schooling gets in the way of.

Most people are under the false impression that education and schooling are synonymous.

Just say no to schooling and drugs. Go out and actually learn things instead of pretending to learn things when in fact you're becoming stupider and more likely to do drugs.

The 5 GED tests represent what an average American high school graduate should be able to answer. Explaining why it's viewed by many as being "too easy". Ironically, studies have shown average high school graduates when tested have failed the GED tests.

The word education as most people view it is something that doesn't represent knowledge or effort. It represents who had the most money to buy the best degree from the best university.

Public schooling was bad for my social skills.  Unless the parent keeps the kid chained in the basement, the kid should be doing all kinds of stuff in the public that isn't sitting at a god damn desk all day.

i hated the school i went to which was in west philidelphia it was full of niggers! niggers always up to no good always trying to make trouble in the neighborhood! then one day i was shooting some b-ball out side of school and i got in one little fight and my mom got scared  so my she sent me to leave with some relatives out in bel-air

They need to lower the drop-out age. Most places it's 16 but in some states they force the children to go to their schools that teach lies until they're 18. I wish I could've dropped-out when I was 12.

The unions that control America's public schools will never allow the dropout age to fall.  That would allow more children to escape the school system by opting out.  One less kid is one increment less federal and state funds, and there are hundreds of thousands of school administrators who need that money for themselves.

Keep dreamin', America.  No matter what you do, it's going to be the wrong thing.  That's because you allowed things to degrade so seriously that ANY move in a likely direction is the wrong one.

Of course, you could fix the school system tomorrow by getting rid of 50% (at least) of the administrators, return authority to the teachers, and return the concept of merit to the teaching profession (i.e. produce learned students or be fired) ... but all that is exactly why we're in this pickle in the first place.  You won't do ANYTHING like those actions.  You'd rather continue hiring administrators even when laying off teachers.  You'd rather increasing school funding even while students flee to charter schools.  So suffer, bitches!  You deserve it ... you, and your ratkids.
