When I was younger I was accused of some shit I didn't do and I had to spend time in 2 seperate juvenile detention centers and wow, so many human rights were bring violated. The living conditions were inhumane. People were starving and being denied their right to 3 daily meals and a snack. People were forced to stay in their cells for hours and hours and weren't allowed to own any personal items or even books, pencils, and paper. Only a mattress, and if they didn't like you, they'd take that away and you'd have to sleep on a metal table where you'd normally set your mattress on.
Guards assaulted and harassed people for fun. A guard threatened to lock me in a room with 5 armed gang members because I refused to talk and say the number of my position in line whenever I went through a door. Adult prisons, even corrupt ones in other countries weren't as bad as this one.
Did I learn a lesson? Yes, not to get accused of shit I didn't do.
