I have tried so hard, so god damn hard, and I have tried and tried to make things work here. I truly have. Some of you are genuinely nice people, and to those of you my thanks are sent, but most of the people here are to put it bluntly, gobshites.
With the exception of the few, I have never seen so many ignorant, naive, brain-dead fuckwits in any one place. I have never witnessed such a mass collation of homophobia then here. I have never, not once in my life, found a bigger collection of mindless bastards then this place. The newbies never bother reading the rules. The older and regular users never help anyone and the trolls are simply getting out of hand. There is no real order, and there is certainly no respect for others.
Maybe I just have high standards. Maybe I just thought that the whole point of a forum was to have a place where people could debate and discuss interesting topics and share their knowledge with others so that everyone may benefit from it. I thought forums were a place where everyone was treated as equal.
Evidently I was wrong. By this forum's standards forums are just a place to bullshit, spam, and blatantly break the rules.
Thus, I've had it. I'm out of here, and I strongly urge the few good people here to also leave and rescue your spare time.
So... goodbye. I don't expect any tears, I don't expect any "don't leave!!" comments - I'm not going to come back and read this anyway so fuck it.
There's just a few last words (well, quotes) that I'd like to leave you all with. They're things that have either inspired me, warmed me, entertained me or otherwise advanced me in some way, and I'd like to leave with some of these in a last-ditch effort at teaching you all something. At the least I hope you'll get a quick laugh at of one or two of them.
