I started college almost 4 years ago as a business admin major, then changed to international business. Then I decided I wasn't going to make any real money as a business major and I had been working in a pharmacy and enjoy seeing people get better from medications, so I change to pre-pharmacy. I had enough credits for an associates in general business so I have that now (which I can do crap with of course).
I am now almost finished with pre-pharmacy courses and I know that I want to be a pharmacist. However my GPA sucks (not my science but cumulative) from slackin off in business classes...so I'm pretty sure I don't stand a real chance at pharm school even if my PCAT is good unless I get my bachelor's and then apply for pharmacy school. Any economics majors here? What the hell can you do with an econ degree? I've been doing a little research on the internet but it would be nice to hear from people who have business experience and can enlighten me on how useful/pointless an economics degree really would be.
What type of degree do you think is really useful for business setting?
I would like to be able to use any information I'd get from a business related undergrad degree with my pharmacy degree so that I have more options other than working at a Walgreens or CVS...I want to have business background so I can run hospital pharmacy or something of that sort. Any advice or help is appreciated
