Uranus was the Roman name for Sodomus, Greek god of anal sex. Contrary to popular belief, Sodomus was not singularly a god for homosexuals, though he certainly was popular amongst the gay male community at the time. He was finally killed by Zeus when he caught Sodomus attempting to anal fist Zues' brother, Poseidon.
