A member on GF was brought to our attention that takes advantage of other members in an online community by gaining their trust and then deceiving them. The member was on GF as "ArmyBoi" and has since had his profile removed. It appears "ArmyBoi" was approaching GF members asking them to chat with him on MSN. That's about all we know.
We can't even begin to convey how to protect yourself online. The best practice is to use commonsense. If someone is trying to accomplish something on your sympathetic shoulder, then you will be in need of a sympathetic shoulder. Don't fall for the "poor me" routine.
