It shouldn't exist. Affirmative action is bad law; it gives special treatment for some on no other basis but ethnicity. A rich black student theoretically has more advantage then a poor white one because of it. It's a stupid racist policy that fails to consider any factor BUT race.
You can't have equality; then hand out special treatment. Equality means we ALL have the same shot at the pursuit of happiness. If you help the poor black kid; then you have to help the poor white kid too.
