I has a PS2 and nothing to do.

For my birthday early this month I got a PS2 now that they're cheap as dirt. Thats how I play the consol wars, wait untill the systems are close to retirment then buy the winner.

Destroy all Humans

Now I've beaten Destroy all Humans and God of war is kind of boring, how can you be bored of blood and boobs you say? well i just am ~nyah *sticks tounge out*

I've beaten Psychonauts and I kind of hate FFX and FFXII, they're like twins but opposite, FFX has a great battle system but the rest of the game sucks especially Blitzball while FFXII has a great story but I can't stand the battle system.

Point is I'm bored with my games already and I want some suggestions, I'm an old school turn based RPG fan I hate these realtime/semi-real time ReallyPatheticGames.

I like to take my time deciding which can of woopass to open on my opponent while they just sit there waiting like a tied up bitch in a ballgag.

I figure I'd like Destroy All Humans 2 but can't think of anything else.

get black, and a surround sound system and pump up the volume, go wild with the M-16 and there u go. hours of fun

Glad someone else has the balls to admit FF12's battle system sucks. It's too bad you aren't into the more action based RPGs. I used to be totally hardcore old style as well, (I still play 16-bit games), but some of the new stuff is actually good. Tales of the Abyss is the best thing I played in a long time and it's battle system isn't turn based.

I do the same as you with the game systems as well, and I picked up Dragon Quest 8 with my PS2 and whoopee, it was all hype and graphics. It just wasn't as good as people say. I haven't come across any good turn based RPGs in a long, long time.

Ask in /v/ though, they're good for suggesting games. Maybe try the Suikoden games? I hear that at least one of the last few were really good.

Just checked again. Everyone says that Suikoden 3 and 5 were great, 4 was bad. They're next on my list.
