Wouldn't that money be best speant researching cleaner and safer sources of power and research new technologies to combat global warming?.

it amazes me, they say oh global warming this and that yet they speand so much on war.

what about space too?

if Nasa had a 100 billion you'd see a lot more of the universe.

The money spent on war is usually decided by the president and the congress. Spending 95 billion on a pointless war that is leading us no where is indeed stupid. Believe me I wish money was spent on NASA so perhaps man can live on mars or something.

If global warming were to occur, massive storms,sea level rising, temp increase, seasons all off, extinction of many animals, and UV deadly rays would destroy us all.

Spent on combating global warming huh? Yeah I like that idea... but it's a darn shame there are some people in America who think that global warming is a government conspiracy. I've only heard of people like this in America, there may be other people from other countries too.

The idea of anthropogenic global warming is pretty much touted as a religion. Much like Catholicism was during the days of the inquisition, or the Salem witch trials, "denying" it or having a different opinion about it is akin to denying or having a different opinion to the Jewish holocaust during Nazi regime. It's been relegated to the same bin as mass murder, genocide, antisemitism, things that are unfit for discussion in this day and age.

Its proponents are potential tyrants, who promote it as something good just as communism was promoted as good in the last century that was responsible for countless hundreds of millions of human beings during the last century. Its goals are to destroy any prosperity the world may have left.
