If you've gotta kill people, use something they can't ban... I dunno, like rope or fire or water or insects, just get creative fellas!  Or use something you really hate and hope they're dumb enough to try to ban that instead.  Like those scrawny little dogs with no hair.  I really hate those things.  If I use a scrawny hairless dog as a murder weapon enough times, do you think the government will do something to make them go away? (Please??)  Oh, and always make sure you're listening to really shitty chart-pop music at the same time, and with any luck they'll try to ban that too!  Remember, you can always make life that little bit more awkward for the rest of your enemies by visiting their websites/watching their movies/buying their books (use plastic, not cash, to help them trace the purchases) in the weeks leading up to your vile and gruesome deeds... and afterwards sit back and watch the authorities have a field day at their expense!
