Okay for those who get easily offended, well stop reading now. there are a few quotes that i would like to live by
"the death of one man is a tragedy, The death of a million is a statistic"
"it is better to keep your mouth shut and be called a fool, than to open your mouth and prove it"
Both are simplistic and true... But today seems out of touch with this reality. because i do not weep for the few i could be branded a "monster" a "heartless person" many names. because i am "wise" i should keep my mouth shut, but because i am a fool i talk anyway.

Well a few people died... So what? population control.
Virginia Tech.

now lets tally up a few other numbers.
Drunk driving incidents in the past year. over 100,000 deaths.
Smoking deaths. 500,000+
world war I.
World war II. over a million of just one religion. Genocide, or holocaust.
Vietnam. 58,148 just on the memorial wall.
Desert Storm. no real information but roughly 1,000+
Operation Iraqi Freedom. 3,574
Those are rough estimate from the past 100 years. that does not include Korea, smoking, Driving, Drunk Driving, and miscellaneous deaths from the past 100 years.
So why should i weep for those who signed their own death warrant?

columbine started after three high school teens we pushed around, picked on, and made fun of constantly. They were pushed to their Breaking point. no i have read a "few" things on psychology. i know that a majority of adolescents that do not have a mental disability have a VERY HIGH breaking point. that means that they do not give in easily to their desires to "exterminate" if you will.
Same thing with Virginia Tech... they pushed someone to their breaking point. they get shot...
Who are the real killers? who pushed them? no you might be saying "david you cant make anyone do anything" i say otherwise, peer pressure. need i elaborate? i will for the "slower" part of us. okay if you push Marijuana on someone saying "everyone else is doing it" that is putting pressure on that person to do drugs. now if you pressure someone (subconsciously) to Act, look, or just all around "be better" well they are going to take that and try. now when they do it and you are still making fun of them because they will never meet up to your standards well then they wonder. that wondering and pressure leads to the breaking point. thats when they do exactly what my favorite movie quote says.
this is from Fight Club and this is a excellent example of insanity from the sane.
"this buttoned down oxford cloth psycho might just snap; and stalk office to office with an Armalite AR-10 gas powered semi automatic weapon, and pump round after round into colleagues and co-workers!"
if i may set the scene. the main characters boss confronts him about his appearance and productivity around the workplace. and the main character says this line because of the PRESSURE that has been put on him.
now when they encounter this in their mind it is much like a baby receives a face when it is just starting to use its eyes... it is odd, it needs to be tinkered with, it needs an explanation. try to think of a time when this has happened to you. now lets recap. our character Bob is going to be a straight A student in high school that is not that attractive a little socially confused because of his experiences in his previous public settings. so Bob gets pushed around and made fun of. he becomes the center of the classroom jokes or comedy. now bob changes. he buys new clothes he gets a new haircut. he breaks the rules. he abandons his friends for new popular "acquaintances" and changes his outlook on school. so Bob has now changed his life to have his "friends" make fun of him pull numerous pranks on him. and a lot of different stuff.
now we have the battle in the mind. no if he cant measure up to them then he will make them measure up to a gun, explosive, or weapon of any sort.
i am going to digress momentarily
the victim is infused with anger, jealousy, hate...
they need to extract revenge in flesh and blood. thats when the planning begins.
now lets see what Bob does.
Bob goes home broken like a twig in the hands of teenage drama. bob goes on the internet and buys many chemicals that he learned about from his teachers and the internet. he buys sodium, iodine crystals, ammonium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, advil, and proceeds to make explosives. he takes the money that he has earned from his after school job and buys a rifle and a pistol with ammunition to start a small war. (lets pretend bob is 18). he goes into school on monday pretending everything is fine. Bob uses devices and rigs the explosive to block all entrances and escape routes. he walks into the offices at noon, shoots everyone in the office. detonates the bombs. and proceeds to kill everyone in the lunchroom, library, and most of the classes.
Is this a good story or what?
when Bob goes to take on the east wing police break through and start to shoot bob in his center of mass. as bob goes down he wonders what went wrong and why?
this is something someone could really do. all those ingredients i listed could be used to make high explosives. Bobs mind snapped under the pressure and ended many peoples lives. i am not saying that is is not sad. it is sad because people lose loved ones. but it is not a tragedy. it is merely population control.
do you understand why this is not tragic, why it is a necessity?
and another thing Cops do their best to stop it early and save lives. SO DONT BLAME THE COPS! its either cops or military. which one will save lives and keep the buildings and civilians in tact.
if you are going to get upset about my blog then dont read it and send me a message. but once again send something appropriate and smart for a change.
if you are going to get upset about the incident... commit suicide right away because this shit happens every day.
