Am I Weeaboo?

Dear /lounge/,
For a long time now I've been interested in Asian mythology, starting on Chinese mythology.  Recently, I've begun to try and learn the Japanese language, and I wish to move to Japan some day.  However, when a friend of mine recommended me to watch some Japanese animation, I couldn't stand it.  I just wanted to shoot the television when I was watching it.  None of it was realistic, and all of it was shit.  I had a better viewing experience watching Toy Story.  I still am aiming for the goal of moving to Japan and learning the language, but if anyone comes up to me and tells me about Japanese animation, I'll shoot them!  So I have two questions:  1, Am I a weeaboo?  2, Are guns legal in Japan?

You're interested in Asian MYTHOLOGY, yet you criticize anime (many of which are based on Asian mythology) for being NOT REALISTIC?

You also claim to be very interested in Japan, including wanting to actually go there to live, yet don't seem to know that Japan has very strict gun control laws? I thought everybody (and not just 2nd amendment nuts) knew that.

I say you're lying, but if you're telling the truth, then yes, you are a "weeaboo," because "weeaboos" are usually defined as Japanophiles that have no real insight into the Japanese culture outside of the most superficial aspects portrayed in the media/anime/etc.
