World of Warcraft:
-degrades the english language (ZOMG LFG JEJEJEJE!!)
-Promotes grinding and useless quests
-degrades the players
-Implies postivity to repetitive force (look at any good MMORPG, and youll have an imaginative character development system with interesting ways to control it, look at WoW, and youll see a pissed off newbie wanting free gold)
-Shifts values to "Rare Items" and expensive monthly fees which leads to credit card fraud

Wow can be played by ANYBODY, hitting the same key over and over is all you need to gain levels and get further in the game. If youve killed others, thats credible and prefered to hype your image, just like growing up on the "internet"

The game is simple, the quests dont need to be related, just whatever can take time is fine. They dont even have to make sense, just as long as it sticks to an even flow. And sometimes, the quest designers will get lazy and misspell words to add to the phony fantasy element.

Now some of you guys are gonna say "omg FF whore", but more thn half of all rap music is sold to FF fans. No other genre of MMORPG promotes more negative values than WoW, and as it spreads toward different regions, it infects the native population like a fungus.

There is NO talent in WoW, so next time, when you are buying games, get yourself a non-WoW MMORPG. Your brain will thank you for not degenerating it into a pile of primitive processing jello

Well woe was and has never been my style. I only played FF/ragnarok/ etc because well in an RPG I like role playing with girls, and they have anime characteristics..so yea. But i don't play offical servers, more like FREE private ones. Why you ask? Because well it's free, less noobs, nearly everyone knows what they are doing, and less lag.

"skill in a videogame"? well that's a different story. In an MMORPG there is no skill, just knowledge of playing your character and hitting a button to use a skill/spell. In console/handheld, although you are still hitting a button, it takes skill to know how to properly execute it. You can in reverse say you do the same for WOW, but no. a lvl 1 skilled mastermind cant kill a lvl 100 warrior noob. now if this was something like halo, that mastermind would dominate that lvl 100 noob who spent 100+ hours.

gw is pvp centric and takes skill and coordination. wow takes skill, too, if all participants are on equal footing. sure a lvl1 cant kill a higher level, but there are a lot of stories how high levels got killed by a lowbie because he just sucks.

that is skill, too. you need to know when to use what skill. in gw you can only take 8 skills into the battle. you need to find the best synergy between them. that i would classify as skill.
